Crazy Vibes: Blacks, Big Foot Smurf, Betta Dan, Brooks, Bruno and Buz. Chucky: How did the name Crazy Vibes come about? Crazy Vibes: A lot of thoughts went into it... the style that we bring to the table.... and the people basically said we had a crazy style and our vibes mad... Chucky: How long as C.V been dancing? Crazy Vibes: It seems like forever - from we born... four years ago - lol... Chucky: What influenced the formation of the group? Crazy Vibes: Everybody have a mad style to bring... then we just bring it together and everybody come together serious with the dancing. Chucky: How does Crazy Vibes feel about the dancing scene in the Hartford area? Crazy Vibes: The dancers have to unite and stop fight against each other... Crazy Vibes is the dancing scene... there is no dancing scene without Crazy Vibes... Chucky: It is said that dancing squads that have been popping up are all the same, what is C.V’s take on that? Crazy Vibes: That’s a lie¼ All dancing squad is not the same¼ C.V. different from every other dancing group¼ some other groups sit and wait for the new moves then polish up on it and jump the band-wagon¼ Chucky: What separates C.V. from all the other dancing crews? Crazy Vibes: First, the dress code is as one... it’s not like other groups.. the outfit coordinated, the dance moves coordinated... we live like brothers and we dance like brothers when we on stage, everybody know C.V different from other dancers... Chucky: It is understood that there are two new dancers from another dancing crew, who are they and what influenced the switch? CV:It’ not really two new members¼ all of us come from the same group... the group that we talking about is Ontarage... We cool with them, but sometimes them malice we cause them feel like is a switch we make, but it really is that them not serious about dancing.. they are promoting and that’s what they should do... We serious about dancing that’s why we formed Crazy Vibes... Chucky: They say that the dancing scene will soon die because it’s only based on the riddims being made now, how does C.V feel about that? CV: Riddims naah stop make... Artist naah stop Dj.... matter of fact music will never die... as long as music is there, there shall be dancing... The only way it might die is if the dancers keep on fighting each other... If dancers unite and come together they can’t stop it... Chucky: If there was no Crazy Vibes, what would each member be doing today? CV: Still a dance.. Chucky: Has C.V. ever been challenged - how many times, who came out the victor and against which squad? CV: People try. One time at a party we get competition, but it was only Crazy Vibes against Crazy Vibes - we split inna two - nobody else was to give us competition. Chucky: If a few people who have seen C.V. performed were asked to describe C.V. against other crews how do you think they would answer? CV: They would say Crazy Vibes.. Chucky: Since C.V. create dances, give names of a few or showcase them for the people. CV: First of all there is a dance for everybody in the group. everyday we make a dance.. we have dances we don’t even have a name for yet.. Big Foot, Smurf Berry, Betta Dan, Gold Finga, Chiney K, Terror Vibes, Squidweh.. Chucky: How would Crazy Vibes describe themselves in ONE word? CV: Take the space out of Crazy Vibes and make that one word - CrazyVibes. Chucky: What big event is C.V waiting on? CV: The tour.. A month tour.. Look out for it.. Check the DVD’s.. Big up Maestro, Outta Limit Kevin.. newly management.. Big up Supa Hype... Chucky: How does C.V. prepare before a big show? CV: We always prepared.. even when nothing is going on we ever prepared, cause we still a practice everyday.. a lot of dancers weh say , “Oh this natural”, stop talk fuckery.. Chucky: Describe a night before an event for C.V.? CV: Guiness straight.. 73 hrs straight.. Guiness, Redbull, and some of them things here [cannabis]. Who don’t drink a drink waterm and who nuh smoke a beat a Guiness.. and don’t feel that we do this and then pop down.. ah energy. Chucky: Is C.V. a full unit or are there room for recruitment? CV: There is always room for recruitment.. but right now we comfortable with who here right now.. Chucky: Where does C.V. see themselves in 5 years? CV: On top of the world.. No, Over the Top.. To the Galaxy, we say.. Chucky: What motivates Crazy Vibes? CV: Life motivates C.V. Chucky: What does Crazy Vibes have to say to the competitors and the haters? CV: “Slow Down”.... “Settle Yuh Kettle”... “Cool Yuh Jets Nigga”... “We Over The Top”...“We Got Vibes.... Chucky: Where can the people go to see more of C.V. in action and how can they stay in touch? CV: Up at the studio... outside.. Homestead... Myspace... Google wi.... Chucky: How did each member get their name? CV: Buz - cause from me little mi love breast and them shorten bossom and call me Buz... Blacks - we don’t have to tell you why... Big Foot Smurf - him foot big and him small like a smurf.... Bruno - Bruno, Blizzy, Bleach.. everything to together... Betta Dan - inspired to be like Ding Dong and we tell him say him better than Ding Dong... Brooks - him born with that name... Chucky: Any shout outs? C.V.
