Beware, a Loose Cannon is about to blow!!! Just the mention of the words Loose Cannon will have you on edge thinking when is it about to strike... and this Loose Cannon has been on a short fuse and has been releasing shots after shots, lyrics after lyrics and has had Hartford and many others on the lookout. It's about time the world get familiarized with this group, before it is unknowingly at the mercy at one of Hartford, Connecticut's blazing entity.

Chucky: Who are the members of Loose Cannon Crew?

LCC: Yuh have Tundra, Ova-Kill, Knowledge, Mr. Witty.

Chucky: How long has Loose Cannon Crew been doing music?

LCC: Originally it start as a selectah thing in 1995, wi used to save wi patty & bag juice money and go down to Stereo Force Records... but the sound thing never really a go on good... so we started doing over tunes... the feedback got really good till we just decided to really do the artiste thing in 1997. That's when things really start.

Chucky: How did the name Loose Cannon come about?

LCC: Well the sound name was Loose Cannon and then there is more than a few of us so is a crew.

Chucky: Where does each member hail from or represent?

LCC: The whole a wi represent Jamaica to the fullest, no matter which part... Jus Jamaica.

Chucky: Where was the first place that Loose Cannon performed as a group?

LCC: At Open mi at "Big West".... West Indian Social Club, with Avalanche and Fabulous around 98', 99'.

Chucky: You guys have been doing music a while now, what are the cd's or mixtapes that are out there?

LCC: We have three (3) volumes right now. We have Industrial Mix Vol. 1, Industrial Mix Vol. 2 and we have the Trilogy...

Chucky: Any upcoming mixtapes?

LCC: Yeah, wi a release Mind Ova Matter around summertime. This music thing is about consistency... staying consistent, you have to get across to the people the best you can... You have to work... We doing this for a worldwide movement and to get more feedback from outside the community... You have to be versatile... again yuh have to work and build a resume...

Chucky: Okay.... Well, recent airplay of certain tracks, highlight a beef between a certain artist & promoter. What caused that beef and give us an insight on the incidents?

LCC: Alright, yeah man... it's like this... We do a tune for a promoter... cuz them (the promoters) always a seh them hear bout Loose Cannon but them nuh have nuh links wid wi... an dem want wi pon dem show... them want push wi on pon a likkle slot... we nuh inna dat.. we call that "push on"... we get upset so we do a tune... One a wi artist seh "tam tam" di line weh certain artist use... the radio boost it up... it never suppose to happen but the beef work in our favor. Okay then, so wi go talk the artist and seh make we feed off the war thing as a promotional thing... him never waan do that... so Gucci forward wid a tune and call out the whole crew... him violate... we feel violated... this turn into a back and forth thing... but yuh see, some people don't understand the business... the war thing sell... a suh the media work... and the Dj's not setting a good pace in the music... them bias wid certain tunes and certain artist... them too help set the people's mind...

Chucky: So, is there still resentment or has the beef been squashed?

LCC: Well, we still feel like him have resentment... we nuh have none... but if a clash... a clash... it is benefiting.... cause when people come to Hartford, it's Loose Cannon & Gucci Flava... but that nah stop we progress... right now a just a lot of dubplate request we've been getting... and also a nuff links a create... we have crazy producers, like Dirty Joker... even in Costa Rica and France...

Chucky: So how does LCC feel about the music scene in Hartford?

LCC: Hartford music scene moving too fast... business is good though... yuh jus have to wise up and do yuh homework and stay consistent.
