STAMMERKID BIOGRAPHY I was born in Jamaica in 1984 my real name is Steve Mitchell I am the eldest of fourteen brothers and sisters. I currently work as a sales assistant and hope that in the not too distant future I can concentrate full time on my music.

I started writing music from the tender age of thirteen, whilst in school I then came to England when I was fifteen where I started to learn more about the music industry. I started to perform at talent shows in an around the London area. One of my main influences who introduced me to the music business is my uncle Rudie Classic. He is all so an entertainer, he has released a few records which have done quite well in the reggae arena.

I began to accompany him to the local shows around the area at the age of fifteen, he has been my mentor and has always given me guidance in preparation for my stage performances. At the age of 18 I started to develop my own style due to my natural stamma hence my stage name (Stamma kid) which people immediately began to not only relate to but also notice me as an artist.

I have performed with artists such as Vybez kartel and Babycham, this has enhanced my musical history. I am open to working with up and coming artists as my feet are planted firmly on the ground and appreciate what it is like to be fresh to the business.

I am always listening out for new artists that appeal to me as long as they are serious about what they want to do and where they want to end up in the long term. I myself have a plan on what I need to be doing in order for me to reach my future goals. artists like Stylo G, Lyonart and I have formed a team where we come together and create ..club bangers.., this illusive, undeniable combination of artists are called ..true flex.. all I have to say from this is one word and two syllables ..WATCH OUT...
