Ruth Wins Reggae Music Awards

- Bran-Nu Entertainment recording artiste, Ruth-Ann Brown, spent her memorial weekend celebrating Reggae. She received two awards which included 'Best Female Reggae Recording' and 'Best Reggae Recording' for her five-song EP, entitled 'RUTH', at the 15th Annual Washington DC Reggae Music Awards.

She started her celebrations by appearing on the FOX Network where she performed her latest single, 'Any Day Now', and her debut single, 'Unfamiliar Feelings' to a potential audience of a million viewers.

When asked about her accomplishments, she said, "It's an honor to be recognized by the Washington DC Reggae community and I am humbled by the experiences over the weekend. I have to say a big thank you to my manager and producer, Rhoan 'Ric Zheron' Bromfield; my sound engineer, Mike Watert; all the musicians who played on this project and all the fans who have shown me their love and support."

Ruth-Ann Brown will make her mark in New York City this coming August for Jamaica's 50th Anniversary celebrations where she will join the likes of Oliver Samuels, Dobby Dobson, Wailing Souls and many more.
